MARBO at 2023 Dairy Olympics: Business Program Sponsor

A Polish company specializes in the design and supply of the most advanced lines for cheese production. MARBO supports the major event in the dairy industry in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, in May 21-26, 2023.

MARBO team core is a group of engineers who have 20 years of experience in cheese production technology and equipment development, as well as in the implementation of curd and cheese-making projects around the world.

Yuriy Vlasenko, MARBO Development Manager, answered The DairyNews questions:

- Yuriy, in your perspective, how efficient is it for the company to join major forums?

 - If you want to keep up with your potential buyer it is a must. I think of it as a very good and practical toolkit to remind them of you, make necessary and effective contacts, and also advise on the strengths of your company. MARBO is actively developing and will bring more news about innovative developments and implemented projects in Russia and the CIS countries to the Dairy Olympics 2023.

 - This is not your first time in the Dairy Olympics. How does the Olympics differ from other industry events for you?

- I do enjoy the clear and well-structured organization of the event, a huge number of ‘charged’ participants; they mean business for their visit. It takes two to three days to meet and greet everyone you planned to see, to meet new potential partners. A good business atmosphere, which has become even more serious in recent years.

 - In your opinion, what is the most relevant topic for the dairy market now?

- Optimizing energy resources and production costs is central now, including human resources and product loss. Next move for the company is, I guess, modernizing the present lines and upgrading them on a regular basis. MARBO is ready to facilitate the work for our partners in a professional and competent manner.

 - What does the nearest future hold for the cheese market?

- In 2023 supposedly the market will go on with no abrupt decline or growth. The domestic shift, as we see in the second half of 2022, is towards simpler products and cutting the share of expensive and elite cheeses. This is undoubtedly a temporary situation in the market. The consumer will gradually have two things: sufficient available income coupled with an emotional desire to treat themselves and try something delicious and interesting - and everything in the market will slide back to its place.
